The best sightseeing in Thailand is in the capital city, Bangkok.
And for the most part, it’s not the kind of thing you’d want to visit in a hurry.
“The capital is like a city on a roll,” says Paul, a 29-year-old British tourist in the city who goes by the nickname Paul.
“It’s a huge city with lots of shops, restaurants, museums and everything else you’d expect.”
But there’s something about the place that just makes the experience all the more memorable.
And Paul says he loves that.
“I love the fact that I can take a day off work, travel and come back to Bangkok at any time, anywhere in the world,” he says.
“In Thailand, you can have a day in the country, a day out of the country and come home at any point.”
