A new era is upon us.
It’s called “The Lost Worlds” on the new show, and that means we are about to be witness to a whole new kind of adventure.
It starts on a tropical island.
It goes south.
It ends on a mountain.
And the next day, the first episode will be released.
It’s not a new adventure story.
It will feature an entirely new cast, including actors of color.
It’ll have no white leads.
It won’t have a male lead.
And it will feature a female lead, playing the lead role of a woman, who has to get back to her island, and save her people from the monster that’s destroying the planet.
“I think this is a unique and exciting time in the history of ‘The Walking Dead,'” says executive producer Rick Welts.
“It’s the new frontier.
This is the beginning of a new world.”
Welts says the Lost Worlds team and fans have been working on it for a few months, and they’re excited about the potential of the show.
He says, “We’re just at the beginning.
This isn’t the final chapter.
This won’t be the last.”
For the uninitiated, the Lost World is a brand-new television series that will premiere on AMC this fall.
It stars executive producers David Alpert and Greg Nicotero.
It follows a group of survivors who are caught in the midst of an apocalyptic battle against the forces of evil, including zombies, pandas, and a mysterious and powerful alien race known as the Lost.
The first episode, “A New Era,” will air on March 17, 2018.
The second episode, entitled “A Lost World,” will premiere next Wednesday, March 25, 2018 at 10 p.m.
