If you want to take a longer excursion, you might want to look into a lodge in the area or stay at a resort.

Can I camp in the Montana wilderness?
Top View does not recommend camping in the Montanans Wilderness.
There is a little bit of that, but it’s pretty well regulated.
But if you’re going to go camping, be prepared to camp at a minimum of 2.5 miles of trails.
There aren’t a lot places to camp in Montana, but if you can, TopView does a great job of giving you plenty of options.5.
Can my kids go to school in Montana?
