A Savannah sightseeker bus from New York to Savannah, Georgia, is set to leave on Monday morning.
The bus is expected to be arriving in Savannah on Monday evening, the Savannah Daily Times reported.
The Savannah-based bus company, Savannah Bus Tours, announced the bus would be departing from JFK International Airport in New York at 5:40am (AEDT).
It is not yet clear how long the bus will be in New England.
Bus companies are trying to make the most of a cold winter, as temperatures drop below -20C (26F).
There has been a lot of traffic, but the weather conditions are not too bad, said Savannah Bus Tour President, James Bowery.
We’re hoping that there will be plenty of time to warm up on the bus.
We have to take a little bit of a risk on the route because we know that there are people who will not be there to see us.
We’ll be able to take the bus on the morning of the trip and see Savannah, Bowerys said.
The trip is being run by the Savannah Tourism Development Corporation, which is also responsible for a number of other Savannah-related tourism ventures.
